Could you be the full-time Supplier Quality Coordinator in Taubaté we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and detail-oriented team of professionals.
You'll ensure the compliance of purchased products and parts delivered to Alstom facilities, making a significant impact on the quality and reliability of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, engineering, and manufacturing), manage the Incoming Inspectors and Serial Supplier Quality Engineers, and oversee supplier quality performance, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of incoming inspection management and supplier nonconformity management, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team development.
We’ll look to you for:

Collaborating with SPQD (Supplier Product and Quality Development) and Incoming Inspectors to ensure control plans are defined and registered in the ERP system

Ensuring inspection instructions and checklists are available and followed

Managing supplier nonconformities, including containment actions and root cause analysis

Leading and developing a team of SQ (Supplier Quality) engineers and inspectors

Preparing reports on supplier quality performance and improvement plans

Contributing to site quality continuous improvement programs

Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering (mandatory)

Familiarity with supplier qualification standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, IRIS, local standards)

Fluency in English, desireable Spanish

Experience managing supplier relationships and using SAP or similar systems

Knowledge of Quality Wall, Quality Basics, P-FMEA, and Control Plan management

Strong leadership and conflict management skills
- Clear communication needed for the function

Analytical, detail-oriented, and process-focused mindset

Technical understanding in mechanical or electrical domains
