Could you be the full-time Sctructural Designer in Taubaté we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical design expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring efficient and precise designs that contribute to the creation of sustainable and advanced transport solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as manufacturing, project management, and system engineers), review and refine designs, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of modelizing and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in the Digital Mock-Up (DMU), but also perform detailed designs on internal sub-systems.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Performing 3D modeling, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments, Metier rules, and processes
-
Filling up attributes for each part in the Digital Mock-Up (e.g., naming, material, Fire & Smoke)
-
Verifying consistency of the digital mock-up (e.g., no clashes) and ensuring compliance with requirements (e.g., allocated volumes, weight, interfaces)
-
Preparing and documenting Mechanical Domain Design Reviews based on N+1 instructions
-
Updating Digital Mock-Up to reflect approved Change Requests
-
Checking design quality of other CADs and sub-contractors
-
Realizing stack-up analysis and Bill of Materials
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Advanced technician certificate (mandatory)
-
Experience or understanding of 3D modeling, drawing rules, and stack-up analysis
-
Knowledge of Catia V5 (mandatory) and familiarity with Catia V5-SMW Library, DMA, and AutoCAD (desirable)
-
Structured and organized with a hands-on approach
-
Basic English language skills (reading and writing)
-
Ability to propose design optimizations (e.g., weight, cost) and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
-
Willingness to support manufacturing teams during production ramp-up
