Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your **sourcing and project management** expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside **dynamic and collaborative** teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that supplier QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performances align with project objectives and act as the key link between project teams and sourcing. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality, and project management), define and implement sourcing strategies, and ensure the timely availability of materials for project milestones.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the sourcing activity for defined rolling stock projects, but also lead cost improvement plans and oversee material work packages.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Managing the sourcing activity of the project to meet overall QCD targets.
-
Participating in the project management committee to align sourcing activities with project goals.
-
Communicating project needs and ensuring they are properly taken into account by all stakeholders.
-
Defining and implementing the Project Sourcing Strategy in line with platform objectives.
-
Reviewing and managing QCD material scope (Work Packages) and establishing a robust "at completion" vision.
-
Leading cost improvement plans by challenging stakeholders and documenting savings based on total cost of ownership.
-
Preparing and reviewing performance metrics (KPIs) for reporting and decision-making.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
-
Experience in a project environment (engineering, quality, or project management) or sourcing.
-
Strong ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate with international teams.
-
Excellent communication and team skills, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
-
Knowledge of supplier management and sourcing strategies.
-
Fluency in English (mandatory); Spanish is desirable.
-
Strong analytical and structured approach to tasks.
