Could you be the full-time Material Planning Coordinator in Taubaté we’re looking for?

 

 

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your materials planning expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within our supply chain, contributing to the efficiency and success of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, purchasing, and inventory teams), maintain regular communication with local and global suppliers, and monitor inventory levels to optimize processes and performance.

You’ll specifically take care of planning, executing, and overseeing all stages of the material planning process at our Taubaté Plant, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and emergency response strategies.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Reviewing and analyzing material demands from various teams and prioritizing based on urgency and impact

  • Developing and updating acquisition and supply plans based on demand forecasts

  • Maintaining regular communication with suppliers to negotiate deadlines, prices, and delivery conditions

  • Facilitating collaboration between production, purchasing, and inventory teams

  • Monitoring inventory levels and conducting analyses to forecast future needs

  • Preparing reports, performance indicators, and presentations for management

  • Supervising the materials management team and fostering a collaborative work environment

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions

  • Responding to emergency situations related to material shortages or unexpected changes in demand

  • Technological and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Engineering

  • Experience in material planning management, change management, and materials parametrization in systems (5+ years)

  • Advanced Excel skills (essential) and SAP knowledge (desirable)

  • Advanced to fluent English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech

  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage dynamic priorities

  • Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration across teams and suppliers

  • Analytical mindset to monitor and optimize inventory processes
