Overview:

 

International Logistics Coordinator for SCM Brazil

Be in charge of all importation and exportation activities for Alstom Brazil, reporting directly to Head of SCM Brazil, managing Alstom team and also Customs Partner to ensure Golden Rules are accomplished from a Customs perspective.

Coordination for internal training activities, transportation and the production/control team of special regimes (Ex Tarifario, Drawback, Recof, OEA), coordinating and developing internal activities, keeping the current team updated, developing goals, planning the visions, missions and values ​​of the projects to have needs within the project/needs deadline, in addition to offering the Planning material in all/cost of the projects to arrive as expected.

 

Challenges

Ensuring cost reduction, be accountable to accomplish deadlines, the integrity of the processes under Brazilian and international legislation, in order to obtain the satisfaction of internal and external customers.

 

Activities

Define and document the roles and responsibilities of employees and collaborators in your area.

Identify training needs and ask HR.

Represent Alstom with governmental bodies and professional associations on topics related to Foreign Trade, International Agreements, Manifestation of National Production and Transport.

Analyze contracts and guide the internal team on the best strategy to be used to operationalize the projects.

Guide, prepare and approve claims with government bodies, with regard to Foreign Trade and Transport.

Provide technical support (legislation) in the area of ​​export and import, verifying the possibility of cost reduction using Special Regimes.

Create and control International Transport and Logistics purchase requisitions. Purchase Order Approvals as per Delegation of Authority.

Be responsible for the development and control of APSYS activities under the responsibility of Comex, suggesting improvements to the process.

Be responsible for monitoring the KPIs in your area, as well as the necessary actions to correct and optimize processes.

Actively participate with the Strategic Tax department in the design of new Tenders, aiming to raise possible risks and optimize flows and costs.

Control with the team and signalize in advance to the projects possible risks involving any Comex processes.

Ensure BNDES requirements to control SCM topics across the board, to mitigate any impact to the business.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
  • Ability to summarize and focus on the critical issues
  • Effective communication
  • Result driven
  • Remote and multicultural management
  • Previous experience
  • Minimum 8 years Experience in Supply Chain and Foreign Trade Area (International Logistics)
  • Minimum 5 years Experience as SC Leader position (International Logistics).
  • Language skills – English fluency
  • Travel required - No
