Overview

 

The Industrial Quality area at Alstom is responsible for ensuring that all production processes meet the high-quality standards set by the company. Its main focus is to promote excellence and reliability in the supply chain, ensuring that the components and services provided meet technical and regulatory specifications.

The team conducts audits, evaluations, and continuous monitoring of supplier processes, as well as issuing clear reports on inspections. Continuous improvement is a key principle, and the area seeks to establish collaborative partnerships with suppliers to address non-conformities and implement effective quality control methods.

 

Specific Responsibilities of The Role

 

  • Perform the review of historical records related to the quality of production processes and inspections.
  • Collaborate in inspections and interact with inspectors and analysts in the manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor the production schedule and ensure the delivery of cars according to established deadlines.
  • Assist in standardizing processes and measuring operational efficiency, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Prepare clear reports on defects found during the manufacturing process, effectively communicating non-conformities.

Qualifications

 

  • Ongoing bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and related fields. Expected graduation in December 2025 or later
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
  • Desirable knowledge about ISO 9001 stardard;
  • Desirable awareness on Quality tools as 8D, Pareto, Fishbone, 5 Whys, 5W+2H, …
  • Behavioral Skills: Teamwork, organization, logical thinking, strong communication skills (verbal and written), sense of urgency, and initiative.

 

Language skills

 

  • Portuguese - Native/Fluent
  • English – intermediate
