Could you be the full-time Signalling Installation Engineer in Tucheng District, New Taipei City, Taiwan we’re looking for?
We are looking for Signalling Installation Engineer to join our Taipei Metro, Wanda (Zhonghe Shulin) Line Signalling Project in Alstom Taiwan.
The Installation Engineer is a vital supporter of the project Installation team, working in close collaboration with design team in Bangalore and local subsystem and civil partners, making sure all Signalling equipment and design well projecting into civil structure.
Your future rôle
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Installation Design Engineer executes the Installation Engineering studies and activities, in coordination with the Project Installation Manager , Project Managers and Installation Supervisors, including:
- Prepare and execute Installation Engineering activities (Drawings, documentation, specification, Work Method Statement, …) in support of one Projects
- Ensure the deliverables are prepared in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local regulation, contract,…
- Support the Field team (Installation Supervisors, Site Managers, SIG Installation team Leaders, etc…) to understand and review the deliverables and prepare design modification or change requests following inputs from site
- Review & Prepare the Civil interface drawings CSDSEM (e.g. Station building drawings, track layout drawings, ...) and provide SIG equipment requirement such as indoor/outdoor equipment allocation, cable routing, …, etc
- Review & Prepare the Track-work interface drawings for trackside equipment needs
- Prepare Installation material specifications & Installation BoQ
- Support the PrYM Project Installation Manager during the preparation of the Field quality dossier for Handover
- Prepare as-built documentation and ensures conformity with as-installed configuration
- Perform Site Surveys during preparation and execution phase (if necessary)
- Prepare BIM drawings.
- Continuous improvement:
- Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line
- Participate to Process / “Metier” improvement workgroup when requested, to propose update/improvement of the IE way of working, process, tools and RefLib
- Report anomalies versus the reference library and / or the local standard and propose any improvement or evolution.
All about you
- Engineering degree (Electronic/Mechanical) level or equivalent education.
- Proficient or above in AutoCAD as Mandatory.
- BIM knowledge & experience is an advantage.
- SolidWorks or equivalent 3D mechanical design as a plus.
- Experience on railway site management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
- 2+ years of experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)
- Civil/E&M construction interfacing.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese as mandatory.
