Working Location: Tucheng District, New Taipei City

 

We are looking for Signaling Installation Draftman to join our Taipei Metro, Wanda (Zhonghe Shulin) Line Signaling Project in Alstom Taiwan.

The Signaling Installation Draftman is a vital supporter of the project Installation team and a starting position to enter Metro Signaling, working in close collaboration with design team in Bangelore and local Signaling installation team, subsystems and civil partners, making sure all Signaling equipment and design well projecting into civil strucuture. 

 

What are my responsibilities?

In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Sig Installation Design Technician/Draftsman executes the IE activities, in coordination with the Sig Installation Design Engineers and Sig Project Installation Engineering Leader, including but not limited to:

 

  • Ensure the delivery of the CAD & BIM drawings in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local quality regulation, project drawing templates, …
  • Interface with third parties (civil and track-work) and E&M sub-system.
  • Prepare, draft, check and validate CAD/BIM drawings as per requirement
  • Provide Chinese translation of the drawing
  • Prepare BOM list of the drawing

 

What do I need to qualify for the job?

  • Engineering degree (Electronic/Mechanical) level or equivalent education
  • Proficient or above in AutoCAD as Mandatory
  • BIM experience as a plus
  • SolidWorks or equivalent 3D mechanical design as a plus
  • Knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M) as a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)
  • Civil/E&M construction interfacing 
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese as mandatory
