We are looking for SIG Project Planner and TCL2 Installation Planner to join our Taipei Circular Line-II OCS and Singaling Projects dynamic team in Alstom Taiwan.
Project Planner is Deputy of the Project Planning Manager, responsible to build and update in the scheduling tool the project schedule (internal or customer schedule), according to inputs of the Project Planning Manager, in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project (tender, contract or program).
Taipei Circular Line-II is a newly awarded project in Taiwan to extend from phase 1 West ring to North and South rings of the future Circular Line, overall 20.66km with 18 stations cross both Taipei and New Taipei Cities.

Key Responsibilities:
In contract or program execution:
- Contribute to the Project Time Management Plan defined by the Project’s PMP.
- Build the project schedule for his area based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders,
- Contribute with the Finance Project Manager to Earned Value Management
- Participate to the validation of the project baseline
- Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments, and manages the schedules interfaces,
- Perform schedule analysis & trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues
- Organise and lead periodic project schedule sessions for his area,
- Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
- Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
- Prepare schedule and monthly progress reports,
- Provide support to project manager on all issues related to project schedule,
- Prepare extension of time and delay analysis report,
- Prepare catch-up plan and activities for close monitoring and controlling.
- Collect the inputs from installation team in order to provide the KPI and dashboard update.
- Work with Project planner to update the installation progress and provide the analysis and solution in case of the delays.
- Collect the sales and operation data from different SIG project and consolidate the data for monthly presentation.
For all:
- Apply the Project Scheduling Process,
- Promote time management practices awareness in the project team
- Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates.
Performance measurements in contract or program execution:
- Regular and consistent scheduling updates, with potential delays analysis
- Delivery on time delivery of KPIs (Gate Reviews GO on time, sales, cash, …) and planning documents,
- Standard metrics measuring schedule robustness (PSI)
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Engineering or Construction Management degree.
- Project scheduler experience is a plus. Project scheduling processes.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Primavera P6 software.
- Good communication in English & Mandarin.
- Good interpersonal skills, excellent team worker.
- Conflict management and multi-tasking.
- Collaborative management.
- Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment.
