SIG Installation Engineer - TCL

Could you be the full-time SIG Installation Engineer in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan we’re looking for? 

We are looking for to join our TCL Signaling Project dynamic team in Alstom Taiwan. One of our on-going main project is Taipei circular line, dedicates to sustainable and smart mobility delivering the design, manufacturing and installation in Signalling and Rolling Stock.  

The Installation Engineer is a key person of the project team, working in close collaboration with a wide range of sub-systems and will mainly coordinate and take lead of installation equipment (mechanical) design, review, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. In this position, you will report hierarchically to Installation Manager.

Your future role 

• Mechanical design for equipment by solidwork and autoCAD
• Prepare work method statement
• Liaise with offshore engineering team for technicial clarification and discussion
• Prepare the BIM model for interface drawings
• Participate the CIP meetings for civil contractors, Track-work and E&M systems
• Raise & Review CSDSEM drawings and praticipate inspection to verify civil output.
• Provide alternative solution of conflicting requirement of civil and other parties
• Coordinate different parties to optimize requirement from different parties
• Monitor the civil progress and report to PrIM.
• Perform installation test at site (cable test, fiber test, mechanical check) if needed
• Joint inspection with customer and quality team and maunfacture part inspection in factory  
• Support installation manager to plan specific task and monitor work execution in accordance to project / maintenance schedule
• Submit Daily Installation Report
• Participate Customer meeting/inspection.

All about you

• Fluent communication skills in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Higher Diploma or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical.
• Proficient of AutoCAD is essential.
• Proficient of Solidwork is essential.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Rivit(BIM) will be an advantage
• Min 2 years or above railway construction experience can be considered as Assistant Installaiton Engineer.
• Knowledge or experienced mechanical design in 3D or 2D will be an advantage.
• Experience CSDSEM process and Site interfacing experience will be an advantage.
• Operational and personal safety awareness is essential.
• Knowledge of signaling system or equipment railway system will be an advantage.
