Location: Xindian District, New Taipei City

We are looking for Project Translator to join our rail system & signalling projects in Alstom Taiwan. You will involve in Taipei Circular Line Project AC Consortium. Taipei Circular Line is one of our on-going main projects, to extend North and South rings of current West Ring of Circular Line, that dedicates to sustainable and smart mobility delivering the design, manufacturing and installation in Signaling and Rolling Stock. You will be working closely in collaboration with a wide range of sub-systems engineering documents and take lead of technical document translations to co-work with documentation team. In this position, you will report hierarchically to Project Administration Leader of Taipei Circular Line Project AC Consortium.

What are my responsibilities?

• Translate for Technical documents, correspondences and customer comments
• Manage and allocate translation deliverable to meet project submission requirement
• Real time interpret for Customer Workshops and meeting
• Control and manage project documents, in documents logs, formatting, and submission
• Support office administrative process in project purchasing process and office maintenance
• Input Construction Daily Reports in compliance and requirement with customer system request
• Compile technical monthly reports as required

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Graduated with University Degree in translation/interpretation or English is preferred or equivalent
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Technical Translation is preferred and familiar with technical language for rail system project
• Familiar with Microsoft word, excel operation
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
• Project admin experience
• Team work, action in agility, punctual, deliverable
