Location:Tucheng District, New Taipei City
We are looking for Project EHS Officer to join our Wanda EMU (Rolling Stock) Project in Alstom Taiwan.
The Project EHS Officer is a key person of the project team, working in close collaboration with a wide range of project team: project leaders, field site working teams and engineering teams also with customers to make sure our delivery is compliant with local regulations and Alstom requirement on Environmental, Health and Safety. In this position, you'll work closely with EHS Manager to Coach, Demonstrate, Support and Execute the project EHS activities through the project. You will report hierarchically to the Project EHS Manager.

What are my responsibilities?
Support Project EHS topics
- Cooperate with the internal resources to achieve EHS objectives.
- Conduct EHS Risk Assessment and to define appropriate measures to control risks following Alstom EHS guideline and regulation
- Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans.
- Coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
- Provide support and advice to project personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, environmental pollution.
- Recognize the best practices and the good performance.
- React to violations to regulations and Alstom Standards.
- Advise other Project personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to project activities.
Develop EHS culture & compliance in the project
- Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
- Ensure compliance of the project activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions.
- Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
- Inform, instruct, and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
- Participate in the implementation of the project EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring Toolbox meetings are organized.
Report, Measure & Review
- Capture, report, record, investigate and analyse accidents/incidents in order to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Carry out inspections of work areas and carry out EHS audits and report any discrepancy.
Close Collaboration with Quality Manager on Quality topics
- Cooperate with the internal resoucrs to achieve QA objectives
- Support SEMPO Residence Acitivites in Taubate Brazil
- Cooridnate with SEMPO Residence to better understand Alstom quality process in Tabubate
- Smooth the communication with SEMPO Residence for quality related acitivires (NCR/CAR)
- In time sharing return of experience from Taiwan Projects with offshore team in Brazil
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- License of Occupational safety and health management personnel or above level (勞工安全衛生管理員證照(含)以上) as required
- Degree level in Environmental Qualification to Diplima or above
- Professional experience 1 year
- At least 1 year experience in Environment, Health & Safety; Metro/Construction experience with electricy activities as preferred
- Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Deep knowledge of local legal EHS requirements.
