Could you be the full-time ITC Technician in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan we’re looking for? This position is for Taipei Circular Line Phase 1 Project.
Purpose of the Job:
- Perform the execution of Mainline and Urban (M&U) Signaling Installation - trackside and/or onboard - according to Installation Supervisor and Team Leaders orientations and instructions
- To produce the T & C procedure of CBI sub-system for internal review and customer submittal.
- To carry out the static & Dynamic test on site.
- Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, he/she performs the Installation execution and activities, including:
- Execute specific installation activities according the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation/instruction
- Comply with EHS procedures and maintains PPE defined by EHS, make sure collective protections are in place, and alert the Installation Supervisor whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk.
- Ensure has the right means to perform the installation.
- Ensure tools calibration at all time.
- Understanding of drawings and Work Method Statement (WMS).
- Ensure availability and usage of the necessary and right material.
- Accurate knowledge/training for performing the work.
- Perform activities with quality: no deviation versus drawings and WMS.
- Report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the performance of the work.
- Apply the D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation activities.
- To support TCL project/CBI Engineering team.
- To be the Technical contact window (CBI subsystem) with BGL during Field testing stage.
- To provide CBI Technical PPT/Data preparation (Documentation skill).
- Coordination with Customer (D3 & SEMPO& TRTC & Sub-system leaders).
- To record all the CBI Software baseline for each train.
- To organize bi-weekly meeting between BGL-ATC design team & Local ATC team.
- Provide the bi-weekly report to T&C manager & Project manager.
- To produce T&C procedures of CBI sub-system.
- To Prepare CBI tools & CBI Commission spare list.
- To support other sub system static and dynamic test.
Performance measurements
- Quality of installation activities (Number of Punch Points)
- Productivity as per reference Library
- Issue of Red and Yellow drawing reports
Qualifications:
- Technical High-School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Qualified technician.
- Nice to have Certification for railway work sector.
- Nice to have Minimum experience on site works.
- Knowledge of EHS on site.
- Nice to have Knowledge of railway products installation methods
- Good communication in Mandarin.
- Should be flexible with Night Shifts.
- Quality and EHS-focused, rigorous, team-player.
