The Integrated Control Center (ICC) Subsystem Leader/Engineer is a key member of the project team located onshore Taiwan, working in close collaboration with offshore ICC Design Team in India to define, produce, integrate, and validate all the ICC application data and parameters needed to customize the customer solution, either at System level or at Subsystem level.

 

Monitoring and controlling Signal, Switch, Track circuit and Train Movement using Traffic operations view, Power Management and Security Services Management are performed using by ICC System, by receiving information and sending control the from/to Interlocking System, Automatic Train Control (ATC) System, SCADA System (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), Security Services and Other interfaces like Passenger information system.

Primary Responsibilities:

ICC System includes 3 subsystems: ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), SCADA and Security System. The ICC Application Design Engineer main responsibilities are:

 

       Signalling ICC Leader:

  • Analyzes, clarifies and confirms input requirements and needs
  • Support/deliver customer documentation on time and coordinate the ATS/ SCADA/ DMS design
  • Liaise with project counterparts to solve external interfaces issues for both green and brown fields
  • Ensures verifications (document reviews, peer reviews) of ICC specifications
  • Calls, conducts and participates to technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) to analyze technical issues, including consultation to end-users, experts and core competency networks according to specific needs and domains competencies relevance
  • On request, supports the System Application Architect for tenders (evolutions & anomalies analysis, documentation support)
  • Contributes to continuous improvement (REX: Return of EXperience, process, …)
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure project QCD, in particular for equipment such as video wall

 

       IT Architect:

  • Define/formalize/review overall IT architecture needs and bill of quantity for hardware and software licenses
  • Ensures external interfaces are properly integrated within the global IT architecture of the project
  • Provide migration strategies whenever applicable (change of version, product evolution, partial line openings, etc…)
  • In interface with System Architect, synchronize program/platform delivery scope and dates according to project needs and commitments

 

Key Requirements:

 

      Technical Knowledge / Experience

  • GOA4 systems technical knowhow & Experience.
  • Knowing security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies, such as hypervisors, containers, orchestration, and automation.
  • Experience to clarify with Customer on technical issues and work out the solution.
  • Able to discuss technical issues with sub-system leaders of BGL India.
  • Previous experience in SCADA is preferable
  • Previous experience with subway line operation is preferable

 

      Behavioural Skills / Competencies

  • Good Docs skill on Technical PPT/Data preparation. (Documentation skill)
  • Great presentation skill in bilingual.
  • Communication and coordination skills to get along with various stakeholders such as SEMPO, D3, BGL or subsystems lead.
  • Proficiency in English & Mandarin Chinese as Mandatory
  • Absolute respect of ethics and EHS rules
