Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking
- Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety of delivery
- Hold full responsibility for projects Warehouses (Lilyfield, Randwick, Rouse Hill, Auburn, Sydenham ) & 3PL Partners and logistics and distribution of goods to stores.
- Manage inventory supply and forecasting. Driving towards best practice “inventory planning and management” principles to achieve cost objectives as well as excellence in service levels.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Build strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business.
- Develop a good working culture that embraces standard operating procedure compliance, continuous improvement, idea generation, innovation and collaboration.
- Manage and support a team of professionals
- Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a Degree in Business or Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Experience within the rail, defense, transportation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery.
- Previous experience working with ERP (Maximo, SAP)
