About the role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your talent acquisition expertise across our fast moving rail industry. This is a high impact, hands-on role, where you'll take charge of a portfolio of vacancies and our Early Careers Program across ANZ. This role will see you play a pivotal part in driving the organisation's recruitment efforts by partnering with business and HR leaders to deliver exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience. This is a full‑time role based in Sydney, with a flexible hybrid model of 3 days in the office.
Your future role:

Partner with business leaders and HR to deliver the Talent Acquisition strategy and provide an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

Drive end‑to‑end recruitment across niche, senior, and high‑volume portfolios from kick‑off and sourcing through to interviews, selection, offers, and background checks.

Manage a portfolio of vacancies, including oversight of ANZ Early Careers programs.

Build strong relationships at all levels through clear communication, resilience, and a collaborative approach.

Be visible and embedded in the business, acting as a trusted advisor, partner, and mentor to team members.

Leverage market insights to align talent acquisition practices with business priorities and enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Empower our early careers initiatives for Alstom including our work experience, intern, cadets and graduate programs across ANZ.
- As part of the sourcing strategy, build strong relationships with all external stakeholders/partners e.g. schools, universities, TAFEs and industry associations.
- Contribute to the success of the Early Careers Program, by positioning and promoting Alstom at careers/graduate fairs, virtual expos/webinars and online presence.
All about you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable and solid proven experience in Talent Acquisition, whether in-house, RPO, or in an agency setting with the ability to understand the Engineering and Technical sector.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, market trends, and competitor landscapes.
- Experience or understanding of talent acquisition strategies, particularly for niche and senior-level roles
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with building strong partnerships with business leads and HR teams.
- Experience with project management and delivery, working against milestones, deadlines and resource management.
- A continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and practices.
