Your future role:

 

Talent Acquisition:

  • As a Talent Acquisition Partner, be a valued member of a Global Talent Acquisition team, working closely with business leads and HR to support and execute the relevant Talent Acquisition strategy, delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience in the process.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's recruitment efforts, particularly in niche and senior portfolios, partnering with specific area(s) of the business, being visible in the business, whilst also serving as a support and mentor. This position combines strategic talent acquisition, partnering and time management skills with strong coaching and development capabilities to enhance the effectiveness of the recruitment team and align talent acquisition practices with business objectives. 
  • With excellent communication skills, build relationships across various levels of the organisation and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Managing a large portfolio of vacancies as well as our Early Careers programs across ANZ.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's recruitment efforts, particularly in niche and senior portfolios, partnering with specifics areas of the business.
  • Lead all phases of the recruitment process, including stakeholder engagement, recruitment kick-off, job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer management and background checks. 

 

Early Careers

  • Empower our early careers initiatives for Alstom including our work experience, intern, cadets and graduate programs across ANZ. 
  • As part of the sourcing strategy, build strong relationships with all external stakeholders/partners e.g. schools, universities, TAFEs and industry associations.
  • Contribute to the success of the Early Careers Program, by positioning and promoting Alstom at careers/graduate fairs, virtual expos/webinars and online presence. 

 

All about you:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable and solid proven experience in Talent Acquisition, whether in-house, RPO, or in an agency setting with ability to understand the Engineering and Technical sector.

  • Having worked in the Early Careers space is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders and working in a matrix complex environment. 

  • Solid experience working with Social Media (LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Experience with project management and delivery, working against milestones, deadlines and resource management.

  • Experience of having worked with a virtual and geographically dispersed team of stakeholders

  • High-level interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to build and maintain collaborative professional relationships internal and external stakeholders 

 

Competencies and skills:

 

  • You will be highly organised with excellent time management skills and at ease in working with complex projects.

  • You will have the ability to build a rapport with virtual teams in an international organization.

  • Highly analytical, action and detail oriented.

  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business information such as job descriptions, business articles, industry best-practices etc.

  • Excellent coordination and collaboration skills, able to switch from data management to delivering presentation.

 

This role is a unique hybrid role that combines hands on Talent Acquisition with a large volume of roles and also has ownership of our Early Careers across ANZ. You'll manage day to day recruitment activity while also shaping, coordinating and enhancing our intern, graduate and work-experience programs. This position combines strategic talent acquisition, partnering and time management skills alongside effective management of programatic work across the Early Careers spectrum.
