Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field in our team in Randwick. This is a critical position in our Sydney Light Rail project supporting the maintenance of trams and carrying out preventative maintenance programmes and the repair of the Power Supply equipment. You will also regularly monitor Power Supply defects and failures, and liaise with key stakeholders, suppliers & sub-contractors. This role will be permanent night shift, 10pm - 6am.
We’ll look to you for:
- Maintaining Power Supply equipment in accordance with specified procedures
- Performing fault troubleshooting, investigations and diagnostic tests
- Mitigating the risk of in-service failures through proactive intervention
- Installing system hardware and software upgrades
- Performing isolation as necessary
- Reporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken.

- A team player with a can-do attitude.
- The ability to work permanent nigh shift.
- Experience in Power Supply, substation traction maintenance or transport would be advantageous.
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent.
- Current NSW Electrical Licence, or ability to obtain.
