Could you be the full-time Overhead Wiring Expert in Lilyfield we’re looking for?

 

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your overhead expertise in a new cutting-edge field, joining our Services business. You’ll work alongside motivated and passionate teammates on the Sydney Light Rail Project (SLR) in Randwick. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for providing technical and fault finding expertise at the maintenance, warranty facility and Infrastructure network to support the service delivery, availability and reliability of the SLR Subsystems. You'll work closely with our subcontractors, providing support to our operations, engaging in troubleshooting, reporting, planning and much more. 

We’ll look to you for the following activities:

  • Providing technical support and inputs for CCB (Change Configuration Board)
  • Correcting Overhead Wiring (OHW) defects and engaging in risk assessments and OHW preventive and corrective maintenance activities 
  • Supervising our OHW subcontrators, liaising with safety team, infrastructure engineers and other engineering groups
  • Collating and analysing data from reports and identifying failures
  • Engaging in fault finding, repairs, breakdowns and interventions and reviewing the progress of repairs
  • Providing reports of system performance and identifying failure trends
  • Assisting in pre-work planning of shifts for troublehshooters
  • Providing inputs in the development of the Annual Work Program and coordinating its execution

  • A certificate III or engineering qualification
  • Practical experience and a sound knowledge of overhead wiring 
  • Rail background of advantage
