Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates and join our Services business and to work on the Sydney Metro North West Project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, taking care of preventative and corrective maintenance programmes on the fleet of trains and Depot infrastructure repairs/maintenance and much more. If you’re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career. 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Carrying out troubleshooting during maintenance (preventive and corrective) activities, including investigation and repair
  • Carrying out fleet check activities and supporting depot operations
  • Reporting & registering any deviation (failure/event) in Failure Management data base including configuration data
  • Applying & enforcing Alstom & customer EHS & security rules and relevant PI processes on the site
  • Executing test & trouble shouting procedures to evaluate system performance and performs failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair
  • Supporting specific technical investigations by engineering or internal/external Suppliers

 

 

All about you

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about problem solving. You will also have

  • Certificate III in Engineering (mechanical trade)
  • Trade qualifications mechanical 
  • Railway industry experience is preferred 
  • Troubleshooting experience desired
