Join us on a max-term contract of 24 months based out of North Ryde, Sydney. 

 

Your future role

Prepare and Warranty Signalling activities for systems will report to the Warranty Manager and work alongside Warranty teammates.

Your ability to communicate in an open manner with various stakeholders will promote your usage of new technologies and tools within the role. You’ll specifically contribute to project warranty phase , supporting warranty team to fix urgent issues that might have potential impact to revenue service

 

  • Preventive maintains for  CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) Signaling and Communication equipment
  • Actively participating in closing work orders within the Client’s Asset Information System
  • Recording and reporting all information relevant to operational safety incidents, service defects and failures
  • Acting as Alstom’s technical representative, providing technical support to the Operator and maintenance staff
  • Responding to trends in CBTC signaling equipment defects and making recommendations on possible mitigations and counter measures
  • Provide first-hand information of the train operation, create preliminary reports with technical and constructional analysis.
  • Troubleshooting of CBTC sub-systems and trackside fault as and when they arise
  • Good at communicating with clients.
  • Support commissioning, modification, testing and engineering.
  • Customer complaints acceptance and handling, spare parts management and warranty information recording.
  • Complete other work assigned by superiors.
  • Apply EHS requirements on site

  • Master Degree in Engineering - Electronics or Embedded Systems
  • Railway and signalling knowledge
  • Previous Engineering, V&V, T&C or Maintenance for Railway Signalling
  • Team management skills
  • Strong communication with clients
