Your Future Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head IS&T Business Partner for Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this key role, you will be responsible for all Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) matters across the ANZ region, ensuring seamless delivery of IS&T services and alignment with Alstom’s global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary IS&T leader and business partner for the ANZ region, representing IS&T at the senior management level.
- Oversee and manage all IS&T demands within ANZ, including hardware (laptops and devices), new business applications, and all supporting infrastructure.
- Drive the implementation of new IT tools and solutions to enhance business operations and support Alstom’s digital transformation.
- Ensure the effective delivery of the global IS&T strategy within the ANZ region, adapting group initiatives to local business needs.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into IS&T requirements and solutions.
- Lead local IS&T teams, fostering a culture of innovation, service excellence, and continuous improvement, with support from global Centre’s of Excellence.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience in IT management or business partnering roles, preferably within large, matrixed and global organisations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience at the senior management or executive level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in the transportation, industrial, or engineering sectors is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and align IT initiatives with business goals.
