About the role:

 

Alstom has an exciting opportunity for a HR Digital Solutions & People Analytics Specialist to join our HR team based in the North Sydney head office. Reporting directly to the HR Director, ANZ, this high-impact role will be instrumental in transforming how we leverage HR systems and data to drive greater efficiency and smarter decision-making across the business.


You will act as the go-to subject matter expert and local partner for the ANZ HR team, providing expert guidance on Alstom’s digital HR solutions and tools to improve efficiency and enable better data-informed decision making.


Your future role:

 

  • Driving adoption and effective use of core HR systems including ALPS (including the new Position Management module), MSP (self-service and e-filing), QlikSense, Work Force Management (WFM), and CoPilot.
  • Improving data quality across HR platforms, including Finance and census reporting, while identifying gaps and creating ANZ-specific dashboards and insights.
  • Regularly analysing workforce data to spot trends, risks, and early warning signals, and delivering actionable insights to HRBPs, COEs, and senior leadership (including People Reviews).
  • Acting as HRDS Local Partner, training new HR staff, representing ANZ in global HRDS initiatives, participating in user acceptance testing, and piloting new digital solutions.
  • Managing the ANZ SharePoint, including access control and archiving of files.
  • Liaising with HR Operations, monitoring feedback, escalating issues, sharing data quality findings, and bridging time zone challenges between global and local HR teams.
  • Leading system audit activities, standardising practices, improving scoring and metrics, coordinating audits, and tracking completion.
  • Driving continuous improvement across HR processes and systems, leading local integrations, and implementing productivity-enhancing ways of working.

 

About you:

 

  • Strong background in HR Systems (HRIS), People Analytics, and Data Insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors experience highly regarded).
  • Analytical, proactive, and enjoy driving digital adoption and data-driven decision making
  • Proven ability to translate workforce data into meaningful insights and predictive analysis to support business decisions.
  • Solid project management and change management skills.
  • Excellent auditing capability, able to spot errors and deliver practical, lasting solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and partnering skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Highly self-sufficient with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience working in a global/matrix environment is advantageous.
