We are searching for a System Architect to join our Stockholm Office.

We are looking for an ambitious, organized, and motivated System Architect to join the TMS organization. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, with a team playing mindset. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver great results to your current and potential stakeholders in a predictable and controlled manner while having some fun on the way. We are an experienced team with diverse backgrounds that look forward to your contribution to our palette of competencies.

 

Alstom’s Digital and Integrated Systems is a world leader in developing, engineering, and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products, and services. D&IS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.

 

As System Architect you will specify, develop, and test functions for Traffic Management Systems, as part of our great and diverse team. This will include interacting with customers, internal Developers, third party certifiers and other stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Software design, test, and verification of system software.
  • Implementation of Software functions in Ebiscreen 900 product family.
  • Writing requirements and function specifications.
  • Evaluate correctness of requirements driving implementation and already implemented design and tests.
  • Involvement in the Software delivery to customer.
  • Write and maintain Software documentation.

  • Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in software development, ideally in a railway or similar industry.
  • Extensive Knowledge and Experience in C#.
  • Proven track record with requirements driven developments and system engineering.
  • Proven track record of test driven development.
  • Experience with agile software development, working in cross functional teams.
  • Ideally, experience working with Delphi and/or Pascal.
  • English and Swedish are mandatory for this role.
  • Excellent team player and a good communicator.

 

The position is placed in a security class, and we will carry out a security check, according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act, with a record check before a decision on employment. As the employment for this position is placed in a security class, Swedish or EU citizenship is a condition for the position.
