We are now looking for an

Application Design Engineer – Railway Signalling

to join our team in Stockholm.

Your role

As an Application Design Engineer, you will work with the safety-critical logic that controls signals, switches and train routes within railway signalling systems. Your work will directly contribute to the safe and efficient operation of rail traffic.

 

 

You will:

  • Develop and maintain logic for railway signalling systems.
  • Implement functional requirements from customers and railway authorities.
  • Investigate, analyse and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in the design, verification and continuous improvement of signalling solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technical specialists and project teams across the organization.

Who are you?

  • We believe you have a BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a similar technical field.
  • You are interested in technology and enjoy understanding how complex systems work. Experience in programming, testing, troubleshooting or other analytical engineering work is considered an advantage. Experience from railway, industrial automation, telecommunications, aerospace, defense or other safety-critical industries is also beneficial.

  • Comfortable communicating in English; Swedish is an advantage.

The position is based in our new Stockholm office. We offer flexibility through a combination of office and remote work where business needs allow. During the onboarding period, a higher level of office presence is expected to ensure effective knowledge transfer, learning and support.
