Could you be the full-time Software Architect in Stockholm we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
Project by project, you'll develop the next generation of object controllers, positively impacting how our trains operate. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (particularly Product Designers and System Engineers), defining software requirement specifications, architecture, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of specifying and designing our software.
We’ll look to you for:
- Specify, design, and implement the software of signalling platforms while ensuring safe and reliable system performance.
- Contribute to the elaboration of product/system specification & architecture
- Define the software requirements specifications
- Define the software architecture
- Choosing the right development tools, methodology, programming language, coding strategy and rules.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Engineering degree and master’s in computer engineering or other relevant degree
- 5 years of embedded software development experience in a relevant industry (e.g. industrial control, aerospace, automotive, medical
- Experience with requirements-driven developments, traceability methods and agile software development.
- Strong knowledge of and expertise using C programming, Linux, Debian or FreeBSD and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design paradigms, software modelling and software test methodologies
- Hands-on experience with safety-critical software development processes is an advantage.
