Your future role
As a Project Cybersecurity Manager, you will lead and coordinate cybersecurity activities across both product and project development. Working closely with the Cybersecurity Department and Product Development teams, you ensure that cybersecurity‑by‑design principles are applied throughout the lifecycle and that Alstom’s electronic products meet required security, regulatory, and customer expectations.
In this role, you will analyse security needs, relevant regulations, and project requirements to define security objectives and the overall risk strategy. You will plan and manage cybersecurity activities, including associated cost and schedule, and support technical design reviews to ensure that agreed security measures are implemented.
You will also manage vulnerabilities and cybersecurity issues, oversee incident resolution and action plans, and ensure clear and timely communication of cybersecurity status. The role includes coordination with internal and external auditors and responsibility for the QCD performance of the cybersecurity work package, while actively promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and cybersecurity best practices across the organisation.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for delivering the key cybersecurity outputs required for your scope, including:
- Threat modelling
- Cybersecurity risk analysis
- Cybersecurity architecture and requirement allocation
- Application of secure development principles and assurance levels
- Vulnerability and third‑party risk management
- Cybersecurity operating procedures
- Security testing and evaluation of the achieved cybersecurity level

Education & Experience
- Engineering degree in embedded systems, digital technologies, telecom, cybersecurity, or similar.
- Experience in architecture, design, or development of embedded/digital/industrial systems.
- Practical experience in cybersecurity activities or deployment of cybersecurity technologies.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of:
- Cybersecurity standards (ISO 2700x, IEC 62443, NIS/NIS2, NIST, CRA)
- Risk analysis methods
- System & network architecture
- Operating systems & programming concepts
- Security evaluation techniques
- Experience in embedded or industrial systems (rail, aeronautics, automotive) is a plus.
Desirable Certifications
- GICSP, CISSP, GSEC, CISM (optional but beneficial)
Soft Skills
- Autonomous, analytical, structured
- Strong communication in multicultural environments
- Ability to explain and influence technical decisions
- Comfortable working in complex organizations
