We are currently looking for a Planning Manager in Stockholm, Sweden



Your mission:


  • Working in close collaboration with the Project Manager, owner of time management topic in the project team, providing proper time management information to support decisions making to reach expected OTD (On-Time Delivery) performance of the project.
  • Responsible to develop and maintain the Customer project schedule
  • Manage efficiently planning deliverable issuance.
  • Facilitate the synchronization of internal stakeholders with Project management team strategy



Your responsibilities will include:


  • Monitor the execution of the Project schedule as defined by the Project Planning Manager,
  • Organize and lead periodic project schedule sessions with internal team to align every Métier on the project targets,
  • Monitor and report the project follow up through schedule updates,
  • Lead the performance follow up with the proper KPIs,
  • Provide relevant and accurate information to the Project Planning Manager for monthly updates,
  • Ensure the consistency of all the internal stakeholders’ commitments, manage the internal schedules interfaces,
  • Capture any external events that could lead to delay on internal activities compared to the latest baseline
  • Apply the Alstom Project Scheduling Process,
  • Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates.


Your experience and qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in engineering
  • Strong experience in Senior Project Management with industrial background
  • Advanced skills in P6 and MS Project
  • Follow up performance, monitor progress through KPI’s and EVM
  • Good knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the Maintenance and Service organization
  • Agility to juggle with schedules simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals.
  • Financial understanding will be considered a plus
  • Risk and Schedule analysis tools knowledge (e.i Safran) would be nice to have
  • Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
  • Conflict management and multi-tasking,
  • Collaborative management
  • Be able to challenge project team and highly proactive in proposing solutions.
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment.
