Background
For one of our projects for a large mining company in Australia, we deliver the INTERFLO150 solution. This is a computer based train control system used in industrial applications. The system interfaces a number of external systems in the process of loading, moving and unloading material. As part of this each train in the system can be monitored for information reporting and operation optimization.
Problem description and goals
The thesis work consist in gathering and handling the asset data of a large number of individual ore wagons sending their GPS position, amongst other data, in order to provide uninterrupted Remote Asset Tracking. The tracking shall be displayed in a way that it can support different operational scenarios.
