Duration: 20 weeks, on-site
Background
For large projects in the mining industry, we develop the INTERFLO150 solution. This is a computer-based train control system used in industrial applications where trains are autonomous and dispatched automatically. During operation, onboard computers monitor traffic information and operational parameters in real time and record data in the Juridical Recording Unit (JRU), acting as the trains black box.
Problem description and goals
The thesis work consists in developing a JRU replayer to help troubleshooting operational issues and malfunctions.
- Develop a simulator to replay event logged by JRU
- Use the graphical display to monitor the event
- Debug and stabilize development of the simulator and GUI application
- Use the simulator for troubleshooting real case scenario
- Propose additional functionalities / possibilities for the current GUI application
