Join us as a Manager Verification and Validation in StockholmSweden, to lead our teams of verification and validation engineers for Trackside projects.

 

Your future role 

As Manager for our V&V organisation, you will be responsible for managing an organization of several verification teams distributed in Sweden and Poland. The verification teams consists of V&V designers and V&V Managers, with the responsibility to ensure proper testing of our Trackside solutions in our customer delivery projects. Your direct reports are the Team Leaders responsible to ensure the overall delivery of their respective teams. Your responsibility will include defining an overall Verification & Validation strategy, ensure end to end verification is done in the most efficient way and according to applicable standards. You will work closely with the other verification teams, development teams and Systems Engineering teams, as well as colleagues in our global organization.

We'll look to you for:

  • Lead and manage a large organization with Verification teams to achieve goals in trackside projects.
  • Lead and manage Verification & Validation test strategy to ensure an autonomous and adaptable system test environment.
  • Set the strategy for verification tools and processes to be used, aligned with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of test deliverables, innovate and improve on our existing solutions, both in terms of test solutions and in the products.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes diversity and inclusion.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage capacity and competence planning in close collaboration with the development programs.
  • Drive continuous improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

 

  All about you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Strong experience in leadership.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Experience working with testing in embedded development projects.
  • Experience of testing and development in safety-critical systems development, according to safety standards such as CENELEC (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129) or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Hardware, Software and environmental testing.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing test engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • English at a fluent level is mandatory for this role, Swedish will be considered a plus.
