Join us as a Manager Project Execution in StockholmSweden, to lead our teams of Project Engineering Managers and Change & Configuration Managers.

 

Your future role 

As Manager for our Project Execution organization, you will be responsible for managing an organization of several teams. The teams consist of Project Engineering Managers, Technical Project Managers and Change & Configuration Managers, with the responsibility to ensure that our Engineering functions in the Trackside organization deliver safe and reliable Trackside solutions to our customers in both Sweden and internationally.

 

Your direct reports are the Team Leaders, responsible for ensuring the overall delivery of their respective teams. Your responsibility will include ensuring that our Project Engineering activities are delivered in the most efficient way and in compliance with Alstom Processes through an aligned Governance structure and the right Key Performance Index. Within your scope is also the Bid Technical Manager who is the link between our Bid & Sales team in Alstom and the Trackside organization. This means that you are involved in managing the value-stream from the bid until a commissioned project, and with that responsible for ensuring we evaluate our bid and project capabilities. You will work closely with the other organizations within Trackside; System Engineering, Site Engineering and Verifcation teams, as well as external stakeholders and colleagues in our global organization.

We'll look to you for:

·       Lead and manage a large organization with Project Engineers to achieve goals in Trackside projects.

·       Develop customer relationships to align long-term roadmaps and ensure continuous improvements in both quality and functionality.

·       Develop ways of working to adhere to Alstom processes and tools to be aligned with all stakeholders.

·       Ensure the quality and accuracy of our deliverables, innovate and improve on our existing solutions.

·       Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes diversity and inclusion.

·       Promote a safe and healthy work environment.

·       Manage capacity and competence planning in close collaboration with the development programs.

·       Build capabilities to drive the development of railway signaling solutions.

·       Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

 

  All about you:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.

·       Senior experience in leadership.

·       Strong team management skills.

·       Familiarity with Hardware, Software and environmental testing.

·       Experience mentoring and developing test engineers.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

·       English at a fluent level is mandatory for this role, Swedish will be considered a plus.
