Field Operations Manager – Trainborne
to be based in Stockholm
Your Future Role:
In this position, you will report to the Engineering & Field Operations Director and collaborate with a team of experts. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality trainborne solutions within a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the team has the necessary resources for optimal performance, focusing on effective workflows, skills development, and appropriate staffing. You will also be actively involved in project deliveries and engage directly with customers and end users.
We’ll Look to You For:
Team Leadership: Lead and oversee a team of test and commissioning engineers for our trainborne solutions.
Project Management: Staff the team effectively, monitor project progress, and ensure task execution aligns with project commitments.
Best Practices: Identify, standardize, and stabilize best practices within the team.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to personal safety protocols and complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations, following Alstom's zero-defect policies.
Continuous Improvement: Drive team development by planning training sessions and coaching team members.
Functional Guidelines: Collaborate with your manager and peer leaders to establish and implement functional guidelines, including team profiles, skills growth plans, and technological advancements.
Goal Setting: Set clear team objectives, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines.
Motivation and Development: Continuously motivate, evaluate, and recognize team members while providing training and development opportunities.
Quotation Management: Estimate and validate activity quotations for tenders and projects.
Workload Management: Ensure alignment between estimated workload and team capacity, considering subcontracting and business strategies.
Customer Orientation: Maintain a customer-focused approach, serving both internal and external clients.

- Strategic Planning: Skilled in setting long-term goals, aligning teams, and implementing strategies for success.

- Language: Fluency in both Swedish and English is essential.
- Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Scientific disciplines, or Project Management.
