for our Digital and Integrated Systems Division

Your future role:
We are looking for an ambitious, organized, and motivated Application Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, with a team playing mindset. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver great results to your current and potential stakeholders in a predictable and controlled manner while having some fun on the way. We are an experienced team with diverse backgrounds that look forward to your contribution to our palette of competencies.
Alstom’s Digital and Integrated Systems is a world leader in developing, engineering, and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products, and services. D&IS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.
As an Application Design Engineer you will have application design as the main focus, as well as implement, test and deliver site data for the Traffic Management System. You will also be Monitoring and controlling of Signal, Switch, Track circuit and Train Movement using Traffic operations view. You will work with a team which will give you the opportunity to grow, share, and learn.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Ensure configuration management for project data.
- Provide feedback to inputs producers.
- Provide input to offers.
- Participate in customer meetings.
- Participate at commissioning’s which will include some travelling (~3 times a year)
- Conduct training to site technicians and operators.

- BSc in engineering or equivalence of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the railway signalling system

- Must be fluent in English.
The position is placed in a security class, and we will carry out a security check, according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act, with a record check before a decision on employment.
As the employment for this position is placed in a security class, Swedish or EU citizenship is a condition for the position.
