Support commodity management technical wise

  • Acquire knowledge of industrial practises, processes and methodologies 
  • Be an expert with optimization of product total cost of Ownership
  • Support actively project and tender execution
  • Apply Alstom Procurement process
  • Manage supplier technical risks and sets appropriate mitigation plan
  • Support the commodity maturity improvement plan
  • Participatre to the Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost and Co-Development


Support the Procurement strategy

  • Define capability & capacity of supplier to be the target panel in-line with Procurement strategy and makes sure it is implemented
  • Support Tender and Project Phases
  • Support the selection of suppliers for projects and successfully onboard the supplier selected


Enhance Supplier relationship

  • Develop global supplier panel relationship especially on technical side
  • Secure global supplier quality & technical performance
  • Participate to regular (min. quarterly) supplier performance review (incl. quality), solves major issues and secures objectives achievement


Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct


Performance measurements:

  • Non-Conformities Report and On Time Delivery
  • FAI on time



  • Engineering or Business School master degree
  • Technical and product development experience requested
