Purpose of the job:

The key dimensions of the job are to be the focal point of RSC product line. She/he must be part of the decision process for new industrial solution, new equipment and machines bought by Servcies sites. She/he is in charge to define the new processes applicable in  Services  sites. She/he in charge to define EHS standards, EHS guidelines and EHS method statements in the strict respect of regulatory and legal aspects. She/he is aware about return of experience from other regions and improve the existing EHS set of standards for teh Servcies  product line.  She/He will actively participate to Ergonomics management team , support ergonomics initiatives and implement ergonomics standards. .She/he is part of the management team of  the Services product line. 

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Contribute to Alstom Transport EHS Strategy definition
  • Contribute to Alstom Transport EHS Strategy defini Contribute to the definition of EHS Delivery Plan for Services activities in line with the needs identified at central level and with the collaboration of the Region tion
  • Lead Cross-Region initiatives (when nominated) as defined in Alstom EHS MCM for  the Servcies sites.
  • Define EHS road map, develop standards, methods and tools for the Servcies sites.
  • Support the development of Apsys Road map in Servcies sites.
  • Contribute to the implementation of solar panels in Services sites.
  • Support Services sites in achieving EHS results with the collaboration of Regions Management
  • Participate to the elaboration of EHS objectives, initiate and develop programs for the Servcies sites for all regions in line with “Alstom in Motion” strategy.
  • Provide guidance to management about manufacturing risks. Develop standards, methods and tools, starting by defining the necessary EHS Budget and the design to be applicable.
  • Participate to the analyze of significant, severe and lost time accident if needed support to the regions.

 

Support Regional EHS director for animating EHS network of Services sites.

  • Monitor, assist, coach, assess, and develop the EHS community within RSC EHS communities.
  • Support EHS resources in Servces sites about technical EHS expertise.

 

Support validation in EHS for new industrial solution, new equipment and new machines implemented in Services sites.

  • Be in charge to consolidate all EHS questions at this stage and the standardization of that solutions within Servcies sites.
  • Coordinate the ergonomics program across Servcies sites.
  • Be in charge to push EHS requirements inputs iin EHS database.

 

Ensure legal watch for EHS Management system.

  • Contribute to the construction of a global EHS Alstom Management System (ISO 14001 and 45001).
  • Support standardization and consistency of EHS processes across the Region, support EHS process integration and implementation.

 

Report, Measure & Review

  • Inform management team about EHS performance

 

Performance measurements:   

  • TRIR, IFR 1.
  • Fatality / severe accidents.
  • SOV number.
  • Health and wellbeing (Occupational diseases, ergonomic).

Environment (Energy, water, waste, TOPE, VOC,). 

 

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • University Engineer or Business Degree
  • Recognized Health and Safety Qualification to Diploma or Degree level
  • Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level
  • Six Sigma training and or certifications Green or Black Belt.

  • Experience in leading a network of people reporting in dotted line.

  • Teamwork and leadership.

  • Ability to organize, plan and schedule with very good computer skills.
