Purpose of the job:

  • The TC&IS system engineer defines the architecture and functionalities of a TC&IS subsystem (Passenger Information System, CCTV, Data Logger (black box), Passenger Counting System, etc) in compliance with the different requirements;
  • The TC&IS system engineer ensures the integration of the subsystem into the train;
  • The TC&IS system engineer ensures subsystem' supplier follow up.

 

The TC&IS system engineer is responsible to:

  • Define and implement the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem.
  • Integrate the subsystem into the train (mechanical, electrical, software).
  • Define the interfaces (mechanical, electrical, network communication) of the dedicated subsystem.
  • Validate subsystem design which include all design reviews.
  • Manage the change and configuration management process for the dedicated subsystem during and after the design phase.
  • Plan and follow up of all engineering system activities with all stakeholders for the dedicated subsystem.
  • Support all the internal and external stakeholders.

 

TC&IS system engineer profile:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering field;
  • 3 years experience in system engineering or rail business;
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken & written); mandatory
  • Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Focus on results;
  • Proactive;
  • Curious.

 

Working environment:
