- KPI: Capacity /workload management – People Utilization, Productivity improvement, tools management, Internal & External Demerits, Cost of Non-Quality from Rework time and material, MPS Accuracy (%) .
- Successfully deploy best–practices to reach world–class excellence in Production; implementation of Lean Manufacturing
- Ensuring the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards, customer specifications and Rail standards.
- Identifying training and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way.
- Overheads/Opex of Department Budget preparation.
- To deploy Industrial Strategies in-line with Product Line Management Committee decisions
- Contribute to process improvement during the serial production.
- Participate in the investment/budget planning.
- Maintain a safe working environment for employees and sub–contractors in–line with EHS Policy.
- Manage Manufacturing subcontractors.
- Active Participation during New Product Introduction (NPI) along with Industrialization & Transfer of technology
- Capturing of Return of experience (REX) from Shop floor on quality and productivity aspects
- Workforce Management and Planning as per Site Sales & Operations plan (Long term production planning)
- Competency Mapping followed by detailed training plan with effectiveness check.
- Provide effective mentoring and coaching to direct reports in order to achieve function objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in the fields of productivity and quality.
- Support Repair Activity and issues coming from Customer
- Lead WPOs in meeting their QCD commitments.
- Responsible for the implementation of APSYS ( Manufacturing domain)
Requirements - B.E / M.E Mechanical / Industrial engineering
-15-18 years of experience - industrial environment
- Experience preferable from Railway / Auto industries.
