Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. Purpose of the Job

• Leading a team of Material Planners and continuously improving the process of procurement,
• Leading supplier risk management along with Sourcing
• Developing strategies for optimized supply chain.
• Supplier Delivery performance mangement with review with CFT
• Project delivery time line adherence.
   
   
   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading material planners, overall responsibility for commodity wise procurement & support function to Procurement Manger.
• Review of material ordering process by understanding the stock levels, ensuring the deliveries are On Time In Full, thereby meeting production need dates & maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Expediting & monitoring supplier commitments and anticipating potential risks. Risk analysis is being done amongst the team and ensuring on time escalations / material is expedited.
• Ensure supplier visits and evaluating supplier performance levels - Define an action plan for improvement along with the supplier and guaranteeing supplier capacity is utilised as per the business requirement.
• Contribute to daily Procurement center meeting for QCD reviews - Identify priorities, potential concerns & road map for concern closure is formulated. Analyse missing part root causes, support for reconciliation activities and take subsequent actions.
• Review of ERP alert messages and ensuring suppliers are routed for ASCOT implementation.
• Safeguard Non Conformity deliveries are fulfilled as per the agreed lead time and the complete deliverables are met.
• TLS coordination with the supplier and internal team members, signoff is done on a stipulated time frame and ensures all data are captured in the ERP, i.e., material master data management.
• Negotiating supply chain terms and conditions along with Sourcing and ensure that these are inclined to smooth functioning of the organisation.
• Deployment of best practices in the industry, implementing new tools and methods, supporting Internal & External Audits for greater ICQ, IRIS & APSYS scores.
• Ensure team’s KPI are reviewed on a stipulated time frame and meeting the deliverables. Set up a routine for Talent development & multi skilling of the team - Functional & Behavioral.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization by implementing methods and systems to continually improve operational processes..

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience

• 8-10 yrs of Experience in procurement in an organization using SAP.
• Graduation in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration
• Intensive Team work and collaboration with other functions
• Experience of working in a similar domain and Product.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing and/or using a wide array of communications tools
