Could you be the full-time Process Industrial Quality Manager in Sricity, Andhra Pradesh we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance and control expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the compliance and quality of products and parts delivered by Alstom facilities, driving excellence and efficiency in production processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Industrial, Testing, Supply Chain, Project Quality, and Project Core Teams), lead the continuous improvement of quality processes, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of performing inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and during manufacturing processes, but also drive the implementation of preventive actions to achieve zero-defect objectives.
We’ll look to you for:

Encouraging and facilitating quality criteria in production processes

Performing inspections of subassemblies or finished products
-
Supporting new product launches to meet quality standards

Conducting root cause analysis and verifying corrective actions for quality issues

Promoting continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and PFMEA
-
Leading quality animation methodology deployment in line with continuous improvement systems

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical)

14+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (Rolling stock experience preferred)

Knowledge of welding and assembly processes, including stainless steel welding (MIG/MAG/Spot welding)

NDT Qualification - EN9712 (Visual Testing & Penetrant Testing Level 2)

Experience in statistical process controls, 8D methodology, PFMEA, and control plans

Strong customer and stakeholder management skills

Agility and adaptability to manage dynamic business needs

Collaborative, persuasive, and resilient mindset

6 Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification (preferred)

Proficiency in ISO 9001-2015 standards

Fluency in English
-
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
