Job description:
-Defines and validate the detailed manufacturing process for a new product.
-Perform industrial documentation for the project, define industrial master data and set the manufacturing method time.
-In serial phase, drive continuous improvement actions and industrialize product and process changes.
-Defining Method time through MTM UAS build block system & Establish method time in manufacturing
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficient in English – Read, Write and Speak
- Familiar with Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- 2 to 5 years experience in Heavy fabrication and stainless steel /carbon steel welding
- Experience in Lean

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering experience in Mechanical Assembly and Harness manufacturing process.
- Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing.
- -Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
- -Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
- -Familiar with IS common tools.
- -Process FMEA, QRQC.
- -Time analysis (MTM, MEK, UAS).
- Productivity improvement and Cost saving techniques
- Lean Manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma tools.
- Value stream mapping execution.
- Certified on MTM time study tools ( MTM1,MTM2 & MTM UAS)
- Strong knowledge on different method time calculation type is required
- Hands on experience in elemental time study using MTM UAS building block systems
- Strong knowledge on MTM basic motions,Ergonomics & fatique factor with MTM UAS
- Strong knowledge on different industrial times & operation times
- 6 to 7 years in the Field of Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of Jigs and Fixture Design/Manufacturing

- % Method time reduction – Budget time vs Method time
- Process cycle Efficiency
- Saturation >90%
- Cycle time Vs TAKT
- On time FAI and Serial Go.
- Fixed industrialization cost in line with target.
- Method Time in line with target.
Organizational Reporting
- Reports hierarchically to the Methods Manager
Responsibilities
-
-During specification and preliminary design phases:
-Bring ideas to the Process Engineer or the PIM to guide product definition in order to improve the product manufacturability and achieve QCD targets.
-Participate to the product design reviews when required.
-Estimate Method Time using MTM
-
-During detailed design phase and before Serial Go:
-Participate to P-FMEA.
-Participate to validation of prototypes if any.
-Request tooling when needed and write tooling specifications.
-Depending on the domain: perform ERP routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, program for CNC machines. And this ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditions.
-Perform work stations task sequencing.
-Validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.
-Calculate precise Method Time using MTM building block systems-
-After serial Go:
-Industrialize retrofit after engineering changes: Routings, Work Instructions, and tooling.
-Support Production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets.
-Lead continuous improvement in respective shops to meet optimized MT,SATURATION & CT
-Contribute to industrial REX on manufacturing processes.
