Purpose of Job :

You will be in charge to Design & Digitalize Industrial Quality Standards to support External Demerit at ZERO for Customer and improve Industrial Quality Performance with DpU (Defect per Unit), especially for Special Processes , Control Plan per Project and internal procedures(highlighting SpecialProcesses). You will record associated NCRs, results,and KPIs. You must be lead the continuous improvement and the prevention of Quality defects in order to obtain more efficiency and goes to the excellence.
Organization Structure
The Industrial Quality Engineer  will report hierarchically to Site Industrial Quality Manager .
Mission & Responsibility
To ensure the Quality of produced products you will encourage, promoteand facilitate the properly criteria to Productionand performs inspections of subassemblies or finished ALSTOM products according to well defined criteria using standard ,physical, mechanical and/ or electricalmeasurements. Contributes into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope.
Support new product launches to ensure that  quality meets the required standards - Perform root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of industrial quality issues - Collate and evaluate industrial  quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain - Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing),Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)- Undertake special projects as required.

  • Manage Industrial Quality Methods & Tools activities: People if applicable, Process & Performance
  • Develop and deploy processes, tools & quality standards (e.g. Quality Control Plan) with industrial teams
  • Ensure Detection improvement. Thanks to innovation implementation linked to digital tools
  • Develop Standard Quality Board
  • Manage Quality activities related to digital tools (Quality Key User): GSI (Global Single Instance) & AOS (Advanced Operation System)
  • Deliver Industrial Quality Standard Trainings
  • Manage activity related to car history book (Traceability, configuration, …)
  • Define Workstation audits planning, adherence & Build Improvement Plan at site level based on REX
  • Accountable for MMD (Monitoring & Measuring Device) & Material testing activities.
  • Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements . .
  • Lead Quality animation methodology deployment ,inline with Continuous Improvement System .
  • Reporting of KPIs, defects, quality incidents.
  • Drive Right First Time culture to develop continuous improvementand preventive actions to increase the level of quality performance inthe Workshop (QRQC, Defect feedback loop, Pareto...).
  • Deployment of the self-inspection and workstation audit plan with efficiency.
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure the calibration of critical equipment and instrumentationused in the inspections.
  • Ensure all the characteristics in Control Plan are deployed in the manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures and checklists.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action


Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical ,Electromechanical or Electrical )
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance 
  • Experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control .
  • Railway experience is a "plus".
  • Skill Set Requirement for Industrial Quality Engineer
