Could you be the full-time Industrial Quality Engineer in Sricity, Andhra Pradesh we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance and control expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, resilient, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by Alstom facilities, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Industrial, Testing, Supply Chain, Project Quality), collaborate with Calibration Vendors, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of inspections of subassemblies or finished Alstom products and develop rigorous control plans, but also support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets the required standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Encouraging and promoting quality criteria within production processes

Performing inspections and tests according to defined criteria
-
Documenting NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and inspection results
-
Driving continuous improvement and preventive actions to enhance quality performance

Deploying self-inspection and workstation audit plans
-
Ensuring calibration of critical equipment and maintaining controlled document files
-
Supporting manufacturing teams with self-inspection processes
-
Escalating detected anomalies and ensuring their effective resolution
-
Collaborating on site improvement actions and programs

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production)

7 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (Rolling stock or metro experience preferred)

Knowledge in NDT EN - VT & PT Level 2 and welding processes (MIG/MAG/Spot welding)

Experience with 8D Methodology, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Controls

Six Sigma Green Belt certification
-
ISO 9001:2015 knowledge

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word

Collaborative and persuasive with strong team management skills

Fluent in English

Knowledge of the railway industry is an advantage
