Purpose of the job

• He/she manages Software Development resources and activities on the project assigned 

• He/she is responsible for the delivery of each software baseline according to the QCD requirements 

• He/she is responsible of MPU (Main Processing Unit) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) activities

OSE OF THE JOB 

Responsibilities Accountable for: 

• 100% compliant on EHS (Environment Health & Safety) rules (in particular regarding activities performed on train and test bench) 

• Management Train Control validation and verification tools configuration 

• Delivery of Train Control test procedures 

• Delivery of Train Control test reports 

• Configuration management of Verification & Test deliverables: 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration database 

• Management of validation status of change requests (CR): all CR status up to date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports) 

• Management of CR: all NOK results in test reports related to a CR 

• Delivery of Train Control Integration & Validation Plan (activities, means, strategy) 

• Delivery of Train Control Verification Plan (activities, means, strategy) 

• Delivery of Verification & Test activities planning 

• Delivery of requirements testing coverage and results in a weekly report 

• Delivery of a weekly synthesis on Verification & Test activities 

• Specification of tools needed to manage Verification & Test activities (PC, Test benches…) 

• Management of Train Control Verification & Test Work Package

Educational Requirements & Experience: 

• Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…) 

• Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…) 

• Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…) 

• Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains). 

• Managing work packages for sub-contractors 

• Design For Quality (DFQ) cycle 

• Fluent English

• German is an advantage
