Software Engineer C/C++ (RBC team)


The newly hired person will belong to a RBC team that works on international projects, co-creating advanced railway traffic control systems with a high level of safety.   The main goal is to ensure the reliability of the system and demonstrate compliance with the requirements.


Main responisibilities:

  • Design according to specifications
  • Development of the source code
  • Requirement management
  • Technical & Design documentation
  • Fixing defects and maintenance of development environment


Expected profile:

  • BA/MSc in IT or related field
  • Solid experience in C programming, relevant C++ knowledge
  • development of mission-critical code, in compliance with MISRA or similar standarization
  • Knowledge of the Linux environment,
  • Knowledge of scripting languages ​​such as Bash, Python, etc.,
  • Experience in working with GIT / SVN repositories,
  • Very good knowledge of English used for international project communication


To be an asset:

  • Knowledge of TCL/Expect
  • Knowledge of GDB, Linux system internals (e.g. IPC mechanics, dynamic library loading, GDB-related hacks and the like) 
  • SCRUM/ Agile approach experience
