Could you be the full-time Senior Project Manager in Sofia, Bulgaria we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and operational expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll manage and coordinate the execution of projects with medium criticality, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and customer expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, procurement, and quality assurance), oversee project governance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining project objectives and strategies, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, but also proactively managing risks, savings, and opportunities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Being accountable for project QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning) performance and optimizing project financial performance (Margin & Cash).
  • Owning the Project Management Work Package (WP) and being QCDP accountable for all its activities.
  • Defining project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to sub-systems (planning, cost, quality, performance).
  • Ensuring proper transfer from tender to project execution.
  • Defining project objectives and main drivers to achieve customer satisfaction within the contract framework.
  • Staffing the project core team and ensuring alignment of resources with project needs.
  • Engaging project teams to achieve objectives and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Synchronizing internal partners and arbitrating when necessary.
  • Managing project progress and KPIs, and transparently reporting to senior management during critical project reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with rules, instructions, and standards, including Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, and Project Management Manual.
  • Managing relationships with customers and external stakeholders.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manager of an operational scope.
  • Experience working in and with multinational companies and across diverse business cultures.
  • Experience in railway infrastructure, particularly in consortiums with civil work.
  • Knowledge of project management processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • An IPMA level D (or equivalent) certification is desirable.
  • Other relevant skills that align with project management and stakeholder engagement.
