Could you be the full-time Maintenance Operator in Sofia we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates who are passionate about innovation and collaboration.
You'll contribute to the preventive and corrective maintenance of our Coradia train fleet in Sofia, ensuring its seamless operation and reliability. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including engineering, industrial, quality, and various support functions, while performing maintenance activities and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of self-inspections and maintenance sub-processes, as well as detecting and fixing train defects with a focus on achieving the highest quality results.
We’ll look to you for:
- Following operating instructions and completing/signing self-inspections
- Performing maintenance and repairs on TEM components and subassemblies
- Ensuring the accuracy of documents (e.g., PV, FIN, self-check and autocontrol documents, notice sheets, work instructions, defective notifications) and providing information during shifts
- Using tools and specialized devices in the maintenance process
- Operating approved metrology devices and testers
- Utilizing up-to-date and approved technical documentation
- Executing work within established deadlines
- Completing and signing records/measurement records
- Adhering to the company’s EHS procedures and workplace safety protocols while applying environmental protection rules
- Participating in maintaining cleanliness in the unit’s premises
- Proactively suggesting improvements to train maintenance and documenting them in the APSYS dashboard suggestion sheet

- Technical medium-level education
- Experience in rolling stock maintenance is an advantage
- Knowledge in the areas of mechanics or locksmith work
- Familiarity with similar industrial activities
- Additional certifications, such as working with numerical control lathes, other equipment, welding, or locomotive mechanics, are appreciated and useful
