Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your planning expertise in a dynamic and collaborative field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates, reporting directly to the Planning Manager.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our trains, contributing to the delivery of reliable and efficient mobility solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, and Logistics), monitor and report on train availability and performance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of planning preventive maintenance schedules and monitoring train operations, but also support other departments in achieving organizational objectives.

We’ll look to you for:

• Collaborating with the Traction Operator of BDZ to plan the introduction of trains for preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with regulations.
• Maintaining communication with depots and updating the status of trains under maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
• Tracking and notifying special situations affecting train circulation, recording information in SAP, and opening work orders for depots as needed.
• Analyzing and reporting daily train park performance and availability indicators in collaboration with BDZ Traction Operator.
• Collaborating with BDZ to address traffic-related challenges and make informed decisions.
• Keeping a daily record of kilometers traveled by passenger and test trains across all routes.
• Providing support to other departments to achieve organizational goals.
• Taking on the responsibilities of the Depot Manager during their absence.

• High school diploma (a bachelor’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, logistics, or maintenance activities.
• Experience in rolling stock maintenance is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with strong Word and Excel skills.
• Advanced English language skills; Romanian language is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and initiative skills.
• Effective risk management and problem-solving abilities.
• An agile, inclusive, and responsible approach to work.
• A collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
