Site based Warranty Technician involved in warranty activities for Thomson Line project and occasionally on installation, test & commissioning activities which includes


Punchlist and defect closure, including investigation and reporting on site

SW upgrade

HW replacement


The main objectives of the role shall be:

  • To perform site investigation based on the approved procedures and specification
  • To analyse the anomalies found during site testing and perform troubleshooting
  • To support the warranty leader in the daily tasks (e.g. Configuration FollowUp, Progress Report,…)
  • To interface with Engineering team for problem solving and planning
  • To interface with Customer for technical and planning meetings
  • To interface with other Contractor (SWC) whenever requested


Responsibilities Include:

  • Contribution to REX activities
  • Respect WHS standards
  • Training sub-contractor in signalling system


Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering with Electrical specialty
