Support Project Management in aSchieving EHS performance

1. Ensure EHS Risk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Project and Projects.
2. Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at Project level. Ensure it is done at Project level.
3. Make sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas.
4. Has full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in immediate high risk to People or the Environment.
5. Assist, coach and assess the EHS teams in the project and projects.
6. Involve social and medical partners and communicate with them about EHS
7. Support EHS project staffing delivers EHS support during project execution and perform audit of EHS plan implementation during the execution phases of projects managed from the Project.
8. Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment (TOPE), and Alstom Key processes) are deployed at Project level.
9. Monitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements & propose actions to correct any gap
10. Maintain appropriate records and documentation of the Project.
11. Monitor historical pollution & associated risks
12. Build the project EHS communication plan
13. Prepare and implement an EHS training plan and program with the support from HR and a local EHS communication plan.
14. Ensure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate REX reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents.
15. Prepare and submit monthly EHS/ECO reports. Feed EHS reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements. Is accountable for data quality of the Project & associated projects.

Requisite of (WSHO and ECO)

1. Occupational Safety and Health Related Degree or WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) qualification.
2. Minimum two years of working experience in LTA Railway related project.
3. Must be fluent in English and able to conduct training session.
4. Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower.
5. NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
6. Knowledge of ISO45001, ISO 14001, bizSAFE Certification and ConSASS Audit preferred.
7. Advance Certification on Training and Assessment qualification preferred.
8. Willing to work during engineering hours.
