INTRODUCTION 
Team Alstom scored our first long term service support (LTSS) win in Singapore – a 16-year Urbalis 300 signaling services framework for the Circle Line (CCL), covering advanced diagnosis, obsolescence management, hardware maintenance, cybersecurity and service management. During this period, a dedicated local team of service qualified team from Alstom will work closely alongside SMRT’s CCL team, which offers greater operational flexibility, reliability and efficiency. To safeguard the safety of CCL commuters, both teams will also cooperate to maintain a robust and secure signaling system.

 

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: 
•    Accountable N&T Sub-System for LTSS (including Waveguide, IAGO, SDH Backbone) which consist on:
-    Secure the technical activities realized to meet LTSS commitment towards the Operator
-    Troubleshooting and answer to Operator and LTSS Project Team
-    Define and apply the generic strategy fixing issues   
-    Preforming regular site review 
-    Defined and Anticipate future product evolution related to N&T
-    Monitor the radio performances in a weekly basis
-    Interface directly technical experts within Alstom community 
•    Main Contributor for N&T Sub-System deployment activities (Installation, Test & Commissioning) 
•    Provide support & expertise to the Operator in case of major event on different Signaling subs-systems.
•    Insure contractual KPI are achieved.        
        

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
As Project N&T Leader :
•    To lead resolution of technical issues related to N&T Products;
•    To manage processes optimization including products and tools evolution;
•    To ensure obsolescence management plan for IAGO Subsystem (Alstom Product)
•    To elaborate N&T sub-system Design specifications in line with N&T Engineering rules and relying on best practices inherited from Urbalis 300 projects (cross reviews with installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts…)
•    Accountable to reach LTSS commitments for N&T sub-system 
•    Maintain close follow-up on technical gaps implementation
•    Support the functional validation phase of the N&T subsystem
•    Responsible to manage the iterations of the Sub-System configuration all along LTSS project life 
•    Actively support installation and commissioning teams in their respective Métier activities, in the frame of N&T sub-system (golden samples, technical investigations, return of experience…)
•    Responsible to manage the iteration of the installation studies specific to N&T sub-system
•    Actively work together with LTSS System engineers and Design Architect to ensure the overall LTSS performances.
•    To ensure the installation of the front office test bench. To put in place additional tools to increase test coverage.
•    Definition and deployment of new tools and indicators to improve the detection of quality of service. 
•    Support for the manufacture of the waveguide / and support feet
•    Take the lead of the IAGO Product, acquire the supplier knowledge and establish an industrial plan to ensure the sustainability of the product
•    Comprehensive review of current maintenance processes and certify the competency of Operator to align with Alstom’s O&M best practices.
•    Interface with the different Alstom sites (lateral support in Singapore and vertical access to other overseas sites) and ensuring timely dissemination of critical, technical, safety and best practices based on Return on Experience.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education Requirements
•    (Master) Degree in Engineering in Telecom/ Radio /Networking /Electronics 


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE  

•    Strong knowledge and experience on Data Communication techniques (wired and/or wireless)
•    Experience of radio deployments in industrial environment
•    Experience of management in a design telco/IT project
•    Experience of technical coordination
•    Experience on application engineering is an add-on
•    Signalling and system architecture is an add-on
•    Rigorous
•    Result oriented
